My name is Dana Thompson and I started Everything On The Spectrum as a way to share resources for students with special needs.  I currently teach 3rd-5th grade in a specialized Autism program in a Southern California public school.  I am incredibly passionate about all things special education....especially behavior intervention and language development.  I hope you find this site as a place to get your collaborative juices flowing and work together with other special education teachers.  I'm an enthusiast of the power of teachers putting their minds together for the greater good!

Prior to teaching I worked in the home setting providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for kids with autism.  I have a Master's Degree in Teaching with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) along with a California Moderate/Severe Special Education Teaching Credential.  I am currently in the process of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)- just have to finish up the rest of my supervision hours and take that ever-so-intimidating exam!
